Top Tip
Gluing a strip of bubble wrap to the inside of the box where your head sits will help stop it sliding about on your head.

- First you need to choose a box that you can fit your head into.
- Cut it in half horizontally and then tilt the top half so that you can see out and stick the two halves in place. This will become the dinosaur’s open mouth.
- Close the top box flaps and stick shut.
- Add the smaller box on top this will become the eyes.
- With the bottom box leave the back flap down and cut the side flap in half and fix these in a down position by gluing the edges together.
- Cut a long strip for the tail with a point at one end and glue this to the back of the head.
- Paint the outside green and the inside black and let dry.
- Using the template cut out the different sizes of back plates.
- Stick these on in size order from large on top to small at the bottom of the tail.
- Cut out 17 teeth and stick these into the mouth.
- Cut two arches from green foam and stick the eyes onto them then stick to the front of the eye box.
- Cut some scales and stick to the sides to give texture.
