How to Make

  1. Take a flat, heavy stone and conceal inside a large ball of pink air dry clay by folding the clay all around it and smoothing out the surface so it's completely smooth.
  2. Carefully mould the clay into a heart, shaping the bottom into a point and the top into two curves. You’ll need to smooth out the edges and surface again as thin cracks might appear as you work.
  3. Press beads gently but firmly into the surface to create a pattern, using the picture as a guide. Leave to dry.

Top Tip

If the beads fall out or seem loose as you place them, pop them back out, dab PVA into the hole and press them back into place.
