  1. Take a sheet of A4 white paper and measure 14cms across the short side with your ruler. Draw a lone down the length of the paper and trim off with scissors.
  2. Take a sheet of A4 light green paper and measure 18cms across the short side with your ruler. Draw a line down the length of the paper and trim off with scissors.
  3. Take a sheet of A4 lime green paper and measure 13.5cms across the short side with your ruler. Draw a line down the length of the paper and trim off with scissors.
  4. Place the light green paper on top of the lime green paper, lining them up on the left. Stick the light green paper down with a glue stick along the top edge only.
  5. Place the white paper on top of the light green paper, overlapping the green by 8cms. Stick it down with a glue stick along the top edge only.
  6. Now stick the bottom edges with a glue stick.
  7. When dry, roll the paper up and secure the end with a glue stick.
  8. Using a pair of scissors, make long cuts (roughly 9cms) down into the green part of your leek, around 1cm apart.
