How to Make

Step 1

Firstly, using hot glue, stick the sides of the box together to make the box stay in its 3D form. You can create rounded edges by shaping the corners of the box and scoring the sides and folding them in.

Step 2

Using the template, draw and cut out the rectangles from the front of the box.

Step 3

Next, paint the box using a mixture of brown paints. When the paint is dry, you can cover the box with clear PVA glue to give it a shiny effect.

Step 4

Paint 4 thin wooden lollipop craft sticks, 2 natural wooden craft sticks and 2 jumbo circular buttons in a mustard colour. When the craft sticks have dried, stick them together using the photo as reference.

Step 5

1940s Cardboard Radio

Cut and stick the templates to a piece of cardboard then slot and stick them inside the box.

Step 6

1940s Cardboard Radio

To finish, stick the mustard buttons and craft sticks onto the radio.
