Chinese New Year Crafts

Baker Ross has all the arts and crafts kids need to see in the Chinese New Year with style. We have Chinese-themed decorations which look great hanging up in classroom displays, in the living room or even, in keeping with the occasion, on doors and windows.

Dragons feature heavily in our arts and crafts designs; these long, scaled, serpentine creatures are considered symbols of power, strength and good luck in China – they are also a great symbol for kids to make art with. Dragons are not the only animals which are important to the Chinese; great kids’ arts and crafts can include pigs, rabbits, horses, snakes and other signs of the Chinese Zodiac.

Arts and crafts can be made throughout the Chinese New Year. Paper lanterns, for instance, can light up celebrations on the Lantern Festival, the 15th and final day of the Chinese New Year.
