Harvest Crafts

Baker Ross has some great Harvest crafts which are great resources for teachers, after-school clubs and families with young children. Autumn is the season which is most closely associated with harvest; did your children know that before the 16th century ‘harvest’ was the word used to describe the autumn season?

We have some great autumn crafts for kids to do as they learn more about harvests – mixing learning with art is always a good idea. Our autumn decorations are great to make and display and their brown, red and orange colours – reflecting the shades of the leaves as the seasons change – will brighten up any environment.

Autumn activities, such as leaf painting with special sponges, can make the hours fly by even more quickly than the leaves fall from the trees. Put some great crafts in your harvest basket and let young artists express themselves!
