Candle Craft

Providing children with candle craft materials will light up their faces and provide hours of illuminating fun as they get a handle on the joy of candle making.
Baker Ross candle kits come with wax, wicks and instructions; all kids need to mould candles into the shape they want – maybe they will make an animal-shaped candle or one depicting a human face.

Plain white candles have a pleasing simplicity to them but it’s hard for kids to resist painting on them, especially when they have candle pens at their disposal. Once a candle has been embellished with arty pictures, shapes and calligraphy it is a shame to see it burn down! Candle holders and tealight holders are a lot more permanent than candles and these too are fantastic to decorate. Kids will be waxing lyrically about the results of their candle crafting for years to come!
