Service Rating: Didn't realise that it didn't come with sand, went back to catalogue and found the bit that said it right at the end of the description but I only read the title and looked at the picture which showed sand - maybe could be in title of item (sand not included) as now I have a product I can't use and will have to pay shipping just to buy sand.

Service Rating: The nibs on the pens had a plastic cover, which if you tried to remove, pulled the whole nib out of the ink tube, causing it to leak. The pens needed a lot of sand to fill, and unless the children filled them to absolute capacity, the sand moved about and mixed inside the barrel, especially when in use as a pen.

Service Rating: These were easy to fill and the children really enjoyed making them but, when I tried to pull of the little pieces of plastic off the nibs of the pens (so they would work), the nibs came out & the ink went everywhere. It was very difficult & messy to replace the nibs & 3 days later I still have blue ink stained on my hands! It happened with all 12 that I'd ordered. Grr!
